DVDlender accepts no responsibility for any of the transactions effected on this website between registered users. This includes responsibility for any taxes and duties that may result from DVDs being traded.

This website acts as a venue for registered users to list and trade DVDs. DVDlender is not involved in the actual transaction between users. Consequently DVDlender has no control over the safety, quality or legality of the items or the truth or accuracy of the listings or the ability of any registered user to actually trade DVDs. We are not responsible for and cannot ensure that a transaction will actually be completed.

DVDLender does not guarantee the identity of users because of the nature of the internet. There is no practical way of knowing whether the information given by a user on registration is true and correct. You should communicate directly with users you wish to deal with and check their identity yourself. You must do this with care and ensure that your own personal safety is not effected by your communications with other users.

Ultimately, the operation, legality and validity of your transactions with other users is your sole responsibility.

Please use caution and common sense when using this website as a registered user. There is always the risk that you are dealing with people you are not permitted to deal with or people acting under false pretences. DVDLender cannot be held responsible for this as we are not a party to the transaction. Where the viewing of a DVD is restricted according to age, it is your responsibility to check the age of the person with whom you are trading.

Pirate copies of DVDs must not be registered or traded.

DVDlender will not accept the registration of pornographic DVDs. All DVDs must be certified by the BBFC or equivalent. DVDlender will endeavour to remove any offending DVDs from the register as soon as they receive notice that a DVD does not conform to these standards.

On this website registered users are permitted to indicate a 'cash alternative'. This is a sum of money which will be accepted by the user for the item indicated instead of another DVD. DVDlender has no responsibility or liability to you in this regard. If you decide to pay or accept the cash alternative for an item then that sale is a private sale and DVDlender is not a party to that transaction. DVDlender cannot be and is not responsible for making sure that payment is made or that the amount paid is fair and reasonable.
